Teo Petruzzi (*1994) has been awarded the Solo exhibition prize of the Kunstgesellschaft Luzern. This prize includes a solo exhibition during zentral! XL 2025.

Petruzzi discovered at an early stage that artistic worlds can be constructed – using, as Petruzzi says – «plastic building bricks from a company, now worth billions, that once pressed petroleum into injection moulds, thereby shaping my generation’s thought horizon». In Petruzzi’s most recent group of works, they once again demonstrate their virtuosity in building with Lego bricks: Everything can be undone is the name Petruzzi has given to this group of different sized Lego buildings, ranging from tiny to a miniature national bank on a plinth. The name points both to the childlike impulse to take Lego constructions apart, and to the deconstruction of complex global relationships.
