«La rivoluzione siamo noi» proclaims a life-sized collotype by Joseph Beuys from the 1972. Kunstmuseum Luzern presents with this statement in mind, as a triumphant finale of this years topic «The 1970s» and following the slogan ’Il museo siamo noi‘ works from this period of time from the possessions of friends of the museum and those who wish to become friends. We have assembled a wide variety of works by different artists, and from different artistic genres, formats and attitudes. More than 70 exhibits by 27 different artists are shown in five rooms. The exhibition presents an unexpected and diversified view on the art of the 1970s, not least because of the great diversity of the collectors represented here.
