Vereinslokal Utopia
In Kooperation mit Kleintheater Luzern und Goldproduktionen
What will our environment look like in a hundred years’ time? Wherever we look, we are caught in the iron grip of crises: people fleeing and Europe closing its borders, continued global warming and populists winning elections worldwide. The media are dominated by negative headlines. The future no longer holds out a promise, instead it seems as threatened as it is threatening.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Kleintheater, Goldproduktionen is transforming the Pilatus room into a Laboratory of the Future. The collective has taken the predominant pessimism as an impetus and by means of Vereinslokal Utopia aims to create trust in the potential of communities to change. Shaping the future together—this idea is used by Goldproduktionen as a heading under which to invite eight Lucerne clubs to a dinner in their mobile clubhouse. At that dinner, visions for the future of Lucerne in the year 2118 will be developed through conversations and a game. Within three weeks time this will develop into a walk-in micro-macro-cosmosinstallation. Why not have a talk with Goldproduktionen during opening hours!
