Dr. Walter Minnich’s donation to the Lucerne Museum of Art in 1937 is one of the most important group of works in the collection. Thereby, international art was introduced for the first time into the collection. These works belong to the circle of German and French Expressionists—from Pechstein over Soutine, Vlaminck and Utrillo to Dufy and Dufresne.
