We are zentral! The annual exhibition will present a comprehensive survey of current art in Central Switzerland. A jury of experts selects the most interesting of the portfolios entered and acknowledges them with a place in the exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Luzern. The result is a diverse genre-transcending show in which the dynamics and potential of art in Central Switzerland can be seen and experienced.

zentral! is a platform with an aura and a tradition, a cosmos of talented and ambitious artists from the region. For them, this annual exhibition is also a springboard into supra-regional ‘waters’. During the opening day not only is the Jury Prize / Prize of the Central Swiss Cantons awarded but also the Exhibition Prize of the Kunstgesellschaft: the exhibition Solo at the Kunstmuseum Luzern the following year.
